Kelimpahan Artiodactyla Menggunakan Kamera Jebakan Di Hutan Lindung Batutegi, Kabupaten Tanggamus, Lampung

Abstract


Artiodactyla is one of the orders of the class of mammals that has an important role in the ecology, namely as a soil fertilizer and seed disperser and can balance the ecosystem in an area. The purpose of this study was to determine the abundance and daily activity patterns of artiodactyla in the Batutegi Tanggamus Protection Forest, Lampung. The method used is systematic sampling. This study used 41 camera trap units as the main tool installed in the landscape of the Batutegi KPH Forest which includes two resorts, namely Way Sekampung Resort and Way Waya Resort. The results obtained from this study were five artiodactyla species found in the Batutegi protected forest, namely sambar deer (0.4), deer (6.92), wild boar (0.97), mouse deer (0.06) and napu hornbill (0.18).
