Isolasi dan Identifikasi Fungi Endofit Tanaman Suruhan (Peperomia pellucida L. Kunth) Pendididkan Biologi Fakultas Keguruan dan Ilmu Pendidikan

Abstract


Suruhan (Paperomia pellucida L. Kunth) has been used traditionally as a remedy for abscesses, acne, skin diseases, headaches, and pain relief. Various chemical properties found in Paperomia pellucida L. Kunth make this plant as a prospective commodity of medicinal plants can be cultivated. The pharmacological function of this plant due to their secondary metabolites that allegedly resulted from their symbiosis with endophytic microbes such as fungi. Endophytic fungi live intracellularly in the plant tissue without damaging the host. This study aimed to isolate and identify endophytic fungi on plant organs. The result obtained 15 isolates comprising of Fusarium sambucinum, Cladosporium cladosporoides, Cladophialophora sp. Myrothecium sp., Gliocladium sp., Penicillium expansum, Aspergillus sp., Aspergilus niger, Lichtheimia sphaerocystis dan Absidia corymbifera.
